Every figure on this site traces back to a specific, checkable source. Here's exactly which ones, and how the calculations work.
Fund-level data (AMC, category, expense ratio, AUM, tracking error, and related metrics) is sourced from AMFI (Association of Mutual Funds in India) disclosures and individual scheme factsheets published by each AMC. We compile and standardise this into one comparable table.
TER (Total Expense Ratio): the annual fee the fund charges, as disclosed by the AMC for the Direct Plan, Growth Option.
AUM (Assets Under Management): the total money invested in the scheme, as of the most recent AMFI monthly disclosure.
Tracking error: the annualised standard deviation of the daily difference between the fund's return and its underlying index's total return, calculated over trailing periods disclosed by the AMC.
Daily average turnover / Std. deviation from NAV (ETFs only): exchange trading-volume and price-deviation metrics specific to ETFs, sourced from exchange (NSE/BSE) disclosures.
Update frequency: the Data Points table is designed to refresh automatically and reflect recent AMFI disclosures. That said, always cross-check against the scheme's official factsheet before making a decision — factsheets are the legally authoritative source, this table is a convenience layer on top of them.
